Think of Playbook as your creative HQ – an all-in-one file management platform designed for both solo creatives and teams. Playbook can help you store, organize and share all type of files, images, videos, and more.

If you're a visual creator, photographer, artist, or designer, you can create an account and apply to our Artist & Designer plan with your portfolio. Our team carefully reviews each submission, and if your work meets our community criteria, you'll receive an invite to claim your 4TB lifetime storage.

Playbook takes security seriously, with a robust solid access control system that many clients rely on to keep their data safe.

• Privacy – Files are monitored for violations of Playbook community terms. We're always working to restrict our access to customer data. For now this type of access is necessary to prevent abuse to protect our early community.
• Security – Playbook is a safe place to store files. Our data is redundant across multiple regions and backed up regularly.
• Encryption – All Playbook files are encrypted at rest. We do process unencrypted files at server time for features such as search and image similarity.

Playbook runs on a paid subscription model, where premium features are available on our Pro and Team plans (see our pricing page).

Our priority is building a beautiful and accessible tool for all creators, from individuals to large enterprises. So aside from our paid tiers, we also provide a free 4TB of storage on the Artist & Designer plan (sign up here).

We do not sell your data and are not in the business of selling data to advertising companies, AI companies, or any other third parties.

Yes! A tutorial page on our site with great how-to’s! Users can aslo reach us at support@playbook.com. We respond to every message, but keep in mind we are still a small team and it may take a day or two to respond, so bear with us 🤗

We currently limit free users to 25 workspaces. Generally, we recomemend that people seperate personal-use and team-based workspaces. Others like to set up one workspace per project, so feel free to get creative based on what works best for you!

Yes! Playbook auto converts these folders into boards and sub-boards, while preserving your folder structures and names.

Downloading boards with sub-boards from Playbook also preserves your folder structure. 🙌

Yes, you can invite them to a specific board as a Guest/Collaborator, which is located under Invite on your board page.

Yes! However, external users won't be able to download any asset that is Hidden by you or your team admins.

After inviting the client to your workspace, navigate to the Members tab and transfer ownership of the workspace, then you can click the Leave this workspace at the bottom of the page.

Our Publish function allows you to quickly share an individual board with others in a webpage format, so only people that you share this link with can access it. This is also one way you can share a portfolio with external users without inviting them to access your workspace!

Navigate to the board you want to share, under Publish - you can switch the toggle to Publish your board.

Yes, you totally can! Although, keep in mind that anyone with the old URL will no longer have access to this public board. We don’t support Custom Domains yet. so you’ll have playbook.com at the beginning of the URL.

Send allows you to directly send multiple assets or an entire board to any workspace without inviting them to yours. You can Send either to an existing workspace (if you know the Workspace ID) or to an email address.

Yes you can! Select on any individual file and Share via link under the Share button. Click here for quick tutorial!

Users can delete your account through your account Settings page. Prior to deleting your user account, you must also delete or transfer all workspaces you own.

When you are getting close to your plan limit, you can email support@playbook.com and we can help to set you up on a paid plan.

A desktop app definitely on our roadmap. But as of right now, we only have our web application available.

To edit your communication preferences, go to Settings in the web app and click on the Notifications tab. You can customize your email notification cadences.
